- There are no age restrictions at The Grand LA. Household must consist of at least one adult household member to apply.
- What bedroom types are there?
- There are 21 studios, 36 one-bedroom, 29 two-bedroom, and 3 three-bedroom apartments.
- When will move-ins occur?
- The Grand LA is currently under construction with first occupancy expected in Fall 2022

- Our waiting list consist of all eligible applicants that submitted their applications during our July 01, 2022 - July 31, 2022 intake period. At this time, we are not accepting any applications.
- What is the qualification process?
- The Grand LA has minimum and maximum income restrictions. All potential residents will screened utilizing resident selection criteria. Income restrictions are below and subject to change without notice.

- How much is rent at The Grand LA?
- Net rent for studio apartments is anticipated to range from $812 to $1020. Net rent for one-bedroom apartments is anticipated to range from $863 to $1086. Net rent for two-bedroom apartments is anticipated to range from $1033 to $1301. Net rent for a three-bedroom apartment is anticipated to range from $1193-$1502. Rents are subject to change at any time.
- Does The Grand LA have any site-specific preferences?
- Yes, the Grand LA has site-specific preferences. 1st preference is for households that have been displaced by a redevelopment project within the City of Los Angeles. 2nd preferences are for households that pay more than 50% of their monthly income in rent, households that live in housing that has been cited by the city for overcrowding and/or health and safety code violations, and homeless households. Please contact us for more information regarding preference eligibility.
- Does The Grand LA offer on-site storage or garages?
- No. The Grand LA does not offer additional on-site storage nor have enclosed garages.
- Are these apartments rent controlled or are rent subsidies attached?
- Rent control does not apply to The Grand LA and there are no rental subsidies. Minimum and maximum income limits do apply. Portable Section 8 vouchers and other tenant-based rental programs will be accepted.
- Are subsidies from family members allowed?
- No, all income sources are counted for all household members of an application. Income is based on gross household income of all household members.
- Are pets allowed?
- Yes. The Grand LA is a pet-friendly community. Please see The Grand LA's Pet Policy.
- Are short-term leases available?
- No. All leases are a 12-month lease.
- If I applied at another Related-owned or managed property, do I need to complete a new application?
- Yes. Each Related-owned or managed property has its own application process.
